LED Search for Luminaires: Items, Pricing, Stock, and Selection List

When your LED requirements are clear, LED Search enables rapid component discovery, checking prices and real-time inventory, filtering candidates, and exporting your selection to a clean table. It is a daily workbench for procurement managers, hardware engineers, and optical designers.

Easily filter by core specifications: package footprint, CCT, CRI, forward voltage, price, and stock on hand and on order. For example, look up 2835 5000K CRI90 3V, review volume pricing, and assemble candidates for in-depth comparison.

Search by Key Specifications

By default, items in stock and on order are shown. Clear the "In stock and on order only" checkbox to see all items, including those without availability. Smart filters narrow results to real combinations. Selecting one parameter automatically constrains downstream options. Search covers all standard form factors from low-power SMD LEDs to high-power emitters and COB arrays.

Pricing, Availability, and Lead Times

Search results present key data at a glance: core parameters, unit pricing, and stock on hand and on order. When both stock and on-order quantities are zero, the table shows "Check order availability".

Candidate List and Spreadsheet Export

Check desired items to gather them in a dedicated selection tray below the table. You can accumulate candidates across multiple searches — checking different packages or CCTs sequentially while retaining your unified shortlist.

Once your shortlist is ready, copy it directly to your clipboard as a formatted table matching the UI layout. Paste seamlessly into spreadsheets, emails, issue trackers, or purchase orders.

Next Step After Selection

After shortlisting candidates, the next logical step is validating performance under actual operating conditions using Graph Reader datasheet extraction and verification. Then compare selected LEDs in the calculator: evaluating current, solder-point temperature Ts, power, efficacy, price, and total luminaire specifications.

When Search Is Sufficient — and When to Go Further

Search excels at finding components, verifying availability, gathering alternatives, and exporting BOM lists. It gives quick visibility into high-level specs and datasheet links. For deeper engineering design, proceed to AI Datasheet Analysis and Calculator.

Not Sufficient for Final Luminaire Design

To understand which candidate excels at your exact thermal and electrical operating point, further analysis is necessary. Accurate evaluation requires datasheet curve extraction and mathematical modeling: flux under load, forward voltage shift, efficacy droop, cost per lumen, and heat derating.

These tasks are handled by Graph Reader and the calculator.

FAQ

Can I select items across multiple searches?
Yes. Selected items persist in the dedicated tray below, allowing you to run multiple searches and assemble a cumulative list.
What data is copied to the spreadsheet?
The export copies selected LED entries with full specifications: parameters, pricing, and stock on hand and on order.
